In my LIFE, I often say...

In my life, I often say, " one never knows what the future ( and particularly a day has in store for us" before it is through.

Today this came to fruition and if you guys will indulge me, I will explain with a few videos and words. As you know, I often view youtube and post many clips I try to absorb and learn from as I attempt to improve my 4 and 6 string playing. Anyway, today I viewed a guitar lesson from one youtuber called privettricker. He has his "comments" disabled, so I tried to find other vids he may have them permitted on. I basically wanted to pass on my enjoyment of his clip, his cool J200 Gibson and haha his Ultraman shirt that I dug but wasn't able to say so.
Anyway, on his page, I also found a clip that says it is his final video, then a link which took me to the 2nd one below. This is what makes me post this thread. ONE NEVER KNOWS, just what lies in store from one day to the next, from one hour or minute etc. It is my wish here for all who read this, that you and your families have long healthy and happy lives ahead of you. Sure hope Privettricker/James James has the same.

Unreal, Wav. So sorry to hear this.

Check this out and why I say what I say about not knowing what a day will entail. I initially saw the Grand Funk vid he did and liked his ULTRAMAN T shirt and J 200 guitar. I wanted to tell him so, but his comments were disabled. Since that happened, I searched in case I could find a way to tell him a positive. Not so fast, I get that LP vid of him explaining the cancer,,,,,,,, Kind of makes my attempted comment kind of trivial in comparison huh?

Lost my father to Prostate cancer--- undiagnosed -- by the time they found it it was too late he tried to fight for a couple years but lost----

I had 13 (bakers dozen) spots cut off of me in 2017 -- and last check was "cancer free" --- dont wait--- you gotta attack that crap-- hard and fast-- it doesnt take a day off.

In my life I often say "this too shall pass" and ive never been wrong---good stuff/ bad stuff --- boring hum drum in between stuff ---all -- in due time shall pass

it also keeps me from punching stupid people in the throat

My mother passed from colon cancer. I go for a colonoscopy every couple of years because it does run in families. At the very least if you are in your 50's or older you should be getting a FIT test. This can be done at home although you do have to take a specimen to your doctor or a lab.

What is the FIT?

Here in Ontario, every year they send out a notice to go to your Dr. to have a screening done. I just had my Bloodwork and screening done 6 weeks ago. Its a good thing to do along with a physical checkup.

much better--- when you have govt funded medical-- its not so easy to get these things done here in the states ---- especially if you have no insurance--
just getting a Doctor to AGREE to get certain testing for you can be a COSTLY event---then you have to pay for the test--- miss work to go to the doctor to GET the test---its a real P.I.A.

Privattricker had a YouTube fued where people actually threatened his family. He disabled comments and then quit making videos all together due to the vile nature of some humans...

...he mentions the threats at around 7:00
